15.8.2024 The driver was subjected to a breathalyzer test to determine the presence of alcohol, which returned a positive result. The measured value reached 1.35 mg/l of alcohol in breath, equivalent to approximately 2.81‰ (per mille).
Following the test, the man was detained and taken to a police station for further procedures. Police officers discovered that the 56-year-old man had committed the offense despite having an active driving ban imposed by the Municipal Court in Bratislava, which prohibited him from operating any motor vehicles for a period of 24 months.
As a result, the authorized officer charged Dušan J., a 56-year-old from Bratislava, with the criminal offense of endangering others under the influence of an addictive substance, as well as obstruction of an official decision.
After all necessary procedures were completed, the accused was placed in a police detention cell. The case is being handled under a “super fast-track” procedure, meaning it will be processed quickly through the judicial system.
